SUNNYVALE, CALIF.: Omneon has withdrawn its IPO registration, Reuters reports. The server and storage company first filed its bid to go public in December, 2006, with the intention of raising $115 million. “Current market conditions” were cited as the reason for the withdrawal.
The company planned to list on the NASDAQ with JP Morgan as the underwriter. The company has raised around $105 million in equity from several venture cap funds, including Norwest Venture Partners, Accel Partners, Advanced Technology Ventures, Meritech Capital Partners, Invesco Private Capital and Lucent Ventures.
