CEA Sets Up Mobile Group

by TVB Staff | October 9, 2008
The Consumer Electronics Association has set up a new group to deal with the mobile transmission standard being set up for broadcast television. The Advanced Television Systems Committee is working on a standard for mobile and handheld broadcasting to be completed in conjunction with the digital transition.

The CEA’s participation involves figuring out how to make the devices necessary to pick up the signals generated under the new standard, currently known as ATSC Mobile/Handheld, or M/H.
