Waterman Broadcasting Taps Chyron

by TVB Staff | May 16, 2008
Fort Myers, Fla.-based Waterman Broadcasting is upgrading the graphics at its three stations with six Chyron HyperX 2 systems, according to the Melville, N.Y. vendor. Waterman also took two Camio news graphics management systems and the company’s new election package.

Waterman is deploying the systems at WBBH-TV, the NBC affiliate in Fort Myers, and WZVN-TV, the ABC affil in Naples that Waterman runs via a local marketing agreement.

Waterman’s third station, WVIR-TV, the NBC affiliate in Charlottesville, Va., started originating its local news in hi-def as of mid-April.
